I cheated and had a copy pre-ordered from Amazon too, so I'm about halfway through (stupid school cutting into my leisure reading time...) So far I'm insanely impressed, and I may have been late for class the other day since I didn't want to stop reading...

ReplyDeleteI haven't gotten mine from Uncle Hugo yet but I just couldn't wait another second. I went to the Big Book Store and bought a second copy. I'll put the signed copy away until I can sell it on e-bay for a million bucks.

So I had previously glanced over your monster hunter posts, and kind of ignored them, assuming you were talking about the video game series. Well, when you posted this I realized I was wrong, so I checked it out. Found the first 7 chapters of book 1 online, and it's amazing so far. Appreciate you turning me onto this, exactly my kind of thing. Gotta head to the bookstore tomorrow to pick these up.
