Tonight I discovered there's a beta version of the IPSC Shot Timer in the Android store. There's been an iPhone shot timer for a while, but the Android version had been dragging it's feet on coming out.
Right now I'll try out the free app and put off the $150 or so actual shot timer for a bit. I can get a lot of ammo for $150...

ReplyDeleteI checked it out a couple weeks back and then completely forgot about it. lol
So far I'm liking- 'random' beep feature, which should be awesome for solo practice, and ability to save the stats or email them right from the app.
ReplyDeleteMost of the reviews I'm seeing have a lot of complaints about sensitivity issues though, so definitely not for indoor shooting or echo-prone ranges. Lots of false readings.
I'll definitely keep you guys up to speed on this one.
