It's the soothing excuse that 'progressives' tell themselves for allowing us to not, well, show them what 2A *is* all about.
Arguably, an Anschutz single-shot .22 competition rifle is less protected by the 2nd Amendment than an M249.
Yet I've got the Anschutz... I'd love a SAW though.
The only upside of the whole mess (at least the glass half full side, er maybe 1/4 full...) is that it only affects imported guns. Maybe it'll be the push for somebody to start building more 12ga AKs stateside.
