It's good to see it picking up more steam in a variety of other states. This gives us in Wisconsin more hope of reasonable CCW legislation in the coming year.

James said...: We just got shall issue passed last year and it took effect January 1st, and that was with the Dems in control. That's changed.

There are plenty of other pro-2a bills being looked at right now as well.

I've been following the Wisconsin open carry saga pretty closely, since open carry is just now becoming a reality in IA with the switch from may-issue to shall-issue.

I hope you guys can make something happen as well, maybe I can add Wisconsin to the list of states where I can carry with my Iowa permit (or no permit at all!); February 8, 2011 3:38 PM
