Decent Sight Pusher?

The more I work on my handgun skills, the more I want to change the sights on my 1911 and possibly/probably the M&P9, as well as be able to adjust them more easily than beating on them with a hammer (especially with the tritium vials in the M&P.)

Anybody have suggestions on a decent sight pusher that would work on both guns?  I can find a few that look good, but are specific to the gun, and at $150 a pop, it starts to look less and less appealing.

I just picked up one of these, http://www.brownells.com/.aspx/pid=27634/Product/UNI_2OOL_UNIVERSAL_SIGHT_MOVER

Haven't used it yet but will let you know one I order some Heinies for a couple of guns.

Thanks for the heads-up. I'll definitely be watching to see how it works out for you.

I bought XS Big Dot sights for my M&P (which I love now that I'm used to them.)

I probably would have been in trouble if I had tried to install them myself. The front sight needed some material removed to fit in the dovetail, and the rear sight was actually loose in the dovetail. Although the rear sight had a set screw, my friend who installed them (who happens to be a semi-professional gunsmith, although he specializes in bolt guns) used a neat little spring loaded punch to put some dimples in the sight's dovetail surface which made it fit snugly without the set screw.

He also used a brass punch and hammer to install the sights, albeit gently on the front which has a tritium vial. He told me that some of the sight pushers he's used are actually capable of pushing so hard that they can mess up the slide, depending on how fine the threads are on the pusher screw. He said he'd rather replace a tritium vial than a messed up slide any day and I kind of agree with him on that.

Oh, and while you're at it, you might as well throw an Apex Ultimate Striker Block in your M&P slide.

The M&P already has an Apex DCAEK riding in it. ;)

And it's awesome.
