Busy times...
Working 24 of the next 48 hours or so, plus the twin nephews birthday tomorrow, and packing for California (crap, that's Thursday already! Running to Napa for a few days for a wedding.) Forgive me if the next week or so are a bit sparse around here.
Have fun in cali Fred. You probably already know this but your gun will have to be stowed outside the passenger compartment (Trunk is best. If you're in a truck a lockable box behind the seat or in the extended cab are best) with the ammunition stored seperate and away from from the gun. Out of the reach of the driver and passengers is the general rule of thumb. I know, I know. Those people are all nuts.
Sadly that's not that different from the laws here (until 1NOV.) Due to travel arrangements however (trying to not check any luggage,) the irons will be staying home.
I have full faith in the fine LEOs of the great state of California though, so I'm sure we'll be fine. [/sarcasm] San Francisco is the only "big" city other than Napa we'll be in, so hopefully Alcatraz is the worst neighborhood we're going to be in, and they don't let you go armed there anyway.
