M&P9... They Work

Tam and Uncle both mentioned it the last couple days, 2,000 rounds with minimal cleaning and maintenance, and they keep chugging away.  Mine has similar numbers and exactly 2 stove-pipe malfunctions with TulAmmo steel cased stuff (both rounds from same batch.)

Add 10-8 to that list too:

I do need to get some 10-8 goodies for mine... got two mags with the "new" baseplates that either need 10-8 ones or extensions, plus I don't like my sights.

I got to shoot an M&P9 on Saturday a little and have to agree with the sights.

Might also want to look at the Trijicon HDs or Heinies.

Mine has the older style ramped factory installed Trijicon night-sights, but I'm not a fan of three same-colored dots. I'll probably just switch it to a tritium front and the plain 10-8 rear eventually.

Zero failures in mine, but I've never shot anything other than factory loaded brass-cased stuff through it. When you can find it at $200/1k, it's really not worth running steel to me.

I think I probably have 1500-2000 through it. Shot it yesterday, didn't clean it just loaded my carry ammo. I might clean it twice a year. :D
