I'll just get this out of the way, my official opinion is that it's pretty stupid and I'm still wondering how it's not a "machine gun."

Knock down a bull?
It's made in Italy. The BATFEIEIO hasn't even been asked to rule on its machinegunness.
That would explain it. I'd heard rumors they were looking at the legality of it, and it seemed pretty obvious to me.
Someone pointed out that the one trigger version technically is a machine gun.(The Firearm Blog, I think)
