WI Hits 100,000 CCW Permits

Madison, WI (Northland's NewsCenter) - Friday morning marked a milestone for a new Wisconsin law. The 100,000th Concealed Carry License was printed fewer than six months after 2011 Wisconsin Act 35 took effect.
Yet nobody's drowned in the waves of blood in the streets. Amazing.

Catching up to Iowa!

A while back, I figured out that one in every 27 adults of age has a permit in Iowa - as of November's permit numbers. The number must be somewhat higher now given our five-year permits. I wonder what that stat is like for Wisconsin?

Somebody over on SayUncle figured out some numbers, and thankfully somebody else reiterated that it's only been six months or so.

They said the same thing about blood running in the streets when Michigan went to shall issue. It's been years..... and it never happened.
