FBI 9mm Justification

If you haven't seen it yet, it's worth the read.  I think it mostly sums up what I've been saying for a while when people ask my opinion on the whole caliber war issue.  I can carry more and shoot it better, and it works just as poorly as any other pistol round.

I am inclined to agree with everything here. I have two .40s. They are meaty things to fire. .45 is much better for that, but the keys to all of this is the fact everyone has access to modern hollow points, firearms and powders.

This is the difference between this to me and the military's use of full metal jackets. Change to that requirement and you can really entertain some of the arguments. For everything else, carry what you like, fire what you feel comfortable with and can shoot well.

Yup. The military being stuck with FMJ is a whole 'nuther ball of wax. Mainly they're just screwed, because they all suck. ;-)
