Nastolgic

Ruger's going old school.  Make it black, throw a flash hider on it, call it "tactical," and jack up the price! (Although there is a modern touch, it's got an optics rail...) The Mini-30 has gotten the same treatment.

Oy! Yeah, they jumped the shark...
Hey Fred, any comment or mention from S&W concerning your mod to the M&P15-22 trigger housing?
Best,
McVee

Not a word. I removed the BAD when I sent it in, so they may have simply not noticed.

Actually, the real "tactical" part is sticking out the bottom of the receiver just forward of the trigger guard.

(I mean, 10/22's have been shipping with a Weaver rail in the box at least since '86, and the flash hider is, like, the eighth most common aftermarket mod. I'm happy to see it coming with the paddle mag release from the factory.)

The standard 10/22's been shipping with an extended mag release for at least the two years since I picked mine up.

Really?

About time, too!

My only real complaint about the plastic bits is that the trigger sucks. It breaks nice and clean, but the face is serrated and would just plain hurt. I dropped an aftermarket one in it pretty quick though.
