B-CC & Matech Sight

The B-CC (Business-Class Carbine) is now range ready.  After a bit of a hassle with a messed up Amazon sale (third party, wrong price and product number for the item pictured and described...) I snagged a Matech rear from Ares Armor (this is the same BUIS on my issue M4.)  It folds pretty flat, and the ability to dial it in for range is pretty cool.

Eventually I'll toss an optic of some sort on the gun, but for now I want to concentrate on getting back to basics and plan on running it with just irons for a bit.

All the B-CC really needs now is a fittingly lightweight sling of some sort.  Wonder if Blue Force is going to add one to the Helium Whisper line...

Those irons are not bad, just keep in mind they as you have seen do not take a beating well. My personal experience with them? Get back up springs for those things before you do -any- M4/M16/AR15 part. However I do personally like them, and would use them again with out reservation, provided I had those springs.

And she looks damn good. Did you name her yet?

The only thing I don't like about the Matechs is the tiny aperture. If I can only have one size, give me the ghost ring.

I never thought about that aspect of it, since my experience with it is on my issue M4 with an Aimpoint Comp2. I always figured that if the Aimpoint went down and I wanted a ghost ring, the Aimpoint's tube would suffice.

I suppose if I start feeling like the aperture is too small I could always bore it out a bit more, but overall I prefer a smaller one in my irons anyway, probably from my summers of shooting small-bore bullseye.
