Why I Carry

I said it years ago, and the recent event in London only further proves it. There are people in this world that will kill people like me, simply for putting on a uniform.  I refuse to be an easy target.

Way back when in the Philippines, we were told to be in civvies when off base due to highway robbers and snipers. I stayed in town...

Almost everyone I know is against me carrying(presumeably not because they know me so well). I tell 'em I'll be sure to not defend them if the time comes. We don't talk about it much anymore for some reason.
